As said as my pre-article shows,the spout pouch is composed by different kinds of material structure,its total thickness is the sum of different materials + printing ink + lamination adhesive and solvent.
How to measure the total thickness of stand up doypacks?
Here
let’s give an example based on a spout pouch sample:
(1)Get the double face thickness by a calipers;
(2)Divided it by 2 to get the single face thickness;
230micron/2=115micron
(3)Besides some fixed thickness(such as PET,AL,Nylon,Metalized-PET, printing ink, lamination adhesive and solvent),the other rest is belong to the thickness of contact layer;
So,the thickness information of this doypack with spout as below:
